Today, the spot price of electrolytic copper in north China for the front-month contract was quoted at discounts of 400 yuan/ton to 240 yuan/ton, with an average price of 320 yuan/ton, up 70 yuan/ton from the previous trading day.

Today, the spot price of electrolytic copper in north China for the front-month contract was quoted at discounts of 400 yuan/ton to 240 yuan/ton, with an average price of 320 yuan/ton, up 70 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. The transaction price was 79,300-79,660 yuan/ton, with an average price of 79,480 yuan/ton, down 775 yuan/ton from the previous trading day. Copper prices fell back, with the SHFE copper contract for the front-month falling below 80,000 yuan/ton, but wait-and-see sentiment in the downstream sector remained strong. As delivery approaches, holders held prices firm and spot premiums and discounts continued to rise.
